Happy Hol;idays

I thought that I would let you all know just what I am doing today. Right now, I am cooking a great ham that I ordered from Missouri. I am slow cooking that ham starting at midnight and I am basting the ham with a honey glaze and butter. I have going to boil some red potatoes, which I will probably mash later with garlic and butter and milk to a nice creamy base. I have some Yams also which I will cook with honey and marshmellows. I have some kernel corn that will be cooked and some green beans which will also accompany dinner. I made some aspargus and cheese and white chili bean soup with sausage in it. I think that we will have a great Christmas dinner and I wish you were all here to enjoy it with us. This is a time to spend with family and friends and I thought that my friends will enjoy knowing the menu and the family get together.

I really want to wish all of the fans and friends and family who are not here a very Merry Christmas and a bountiful and prosperous New Year. I want to thank everyone for making this a year to remember. I love the fact that I was able to go back to St. Louis where I became a headliner in burlesque. The memories that this visit brought back to me were really fantastic and brought a wonderful feeling and a smile to my heart. After that, going to Chicago and visiting my old neighborhood and seeing the people that now live in this area what something else. Everything had changed and yet, there was the feeling of coming home and being at ease with my past. This visit helped to put many ghosts in their proper place. Then when I attended the Tura Tribute, I have to say that I was not only thrilled but very happy and humbled at the same time. I saw all of those paintings at the Tattoo Factory Gallery and I was stunned at the beauty and talent that was displayed there. I wish you had all been there with me, because I really wanted to stay back in Chicago and just bask in the pleasure. I can't thank Beth and Mitch enough.

I and hoping that we will have just as much fun when we have a similar show in Palm Springs in April of 2009, but this one is a tribute to the Pussycats. I will be there with Haji and Lori, Dennis Busch and Susan Bernard. It will probably be the last time that you will be able to see the livng cast of FPKK. WE 5 are all that is left of the cast of FPKK and hopefully we will be able to make it a reunion to remember.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A JOYOUS NEW YEAR TO ALL. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN CHRISTMAS, MAY YOU ENJOY THE BOUNTY OF THE HOLDIAY SEASON FOR ONE AND ALL.

Always with Love, remember me,
Tura Satana
